Japanese Cafe au lait Bowl
A handcrafted cafe au lait bowl from Kuroe, Japan — combining lacquer, foil, and daily usability in 8 unique styles.
This is not just a bowl.Handcrafted in our workshop in Naka, Kainan City (Wakayama, Japan), this Cafe au lait Bowl blends the traditional lacquer techniques of nearby Kuroe—one of Japan’s three major lacquerware regions—with modern design and usability.
Each bowl is wheel-thrown, hand-lacquered, adorned with gold, silver, or copper foil, and finished with a protective coating that makes it dishwasher-safe and stain-resistant.
With 8 unique styles to choose from, it’s perfect for coffee, matcha, soup, or simply as a piece of everyday beauty.Packaged in a paulownia wood box, it also makes a thoughtful and elegant gift.
Crafted to be used. Designed to be loved.
